Privacy Policy
Iterio ("we", "our", "us") is a language learning application featuring AI-powered lesson exercises and 3D avatars (the "App"). We respect your privacy and designed the App to minimize personal data collection.
1. No Account Required
Iterio does not require registration or login. We do not ask you to provide personal identifiers such as your name, email address, or phone number to use the App.
2. Lesson Inputs & AI Processing
The App includes AI-assisted lesson exercises. Your text inputs are used to generate lesson feedback and responses. There is no free-form public chat feature; interactions are limited to lesson content.
- Local storage: Lesson chats and exercise history are stored on your device.
- Server storage: We do not store your lesson chat history on our servers.
- Processing by service providers: To produce AI responses, your lesson inputs may be processed by third-party AI service providers. This processing is necessary for the App to function.
3. Content Delivery
The App downloads lesson content from our servers (for example, lesson templates or exercise packs). You can access lesson content without creating an account.
4. Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to understand how the App is used and to improve reliability and user experience. Analytics may include:
- App version and device information
- Aggregated usage events (e.g., screens viewed, feature interactions)
- Diagnostics and performance metrics
We configure analytics to be used in aggregate and not to directly identify you.
5. Push Notifications
Iterio can send push notifications (e.g., reminders). Push notifications are delivered via Apple Push Notification service (APNs). Your device receives a push token which is used to deliver notifications to your device.
You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
6. Data Retention
- On-device data: Stored until you delete the App or clear its data (where supported).
- Server data: We do not retain lesson chat history on our servers.
- Analytics data: Retained according to Firebase/Google retention settings and policies.
7. Data Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the App and the data it processes. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Children’s Privacy & Age Rating
The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Third-Party Services
The App may use the following third-party services:
- Firebase Analytics (Google LLC)
- Apple Push Notification service (Apple Inc.)
- AI processing service providers (to generate lesson responses)
These providers may process data as described in their own privacy policies.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location (including the European Economic Area), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data. Since the App does not require accounts and stores lesson chats locally, we may not be able to identify you as an individual user without additional information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
